As a school, high expectations are extremely important to us: Springwood firmly believes that a smart dress code reinforces high standards of behaviour and respect. We do ask that all pupils attend school wearing full school uniform on a daily basis. |

Uniform Requirements
Gold, yellow polo t-shirt.
Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or dress.
Yellow gingham dress in the warmer months.
Plain, grey, v-necked jumper or cardigan.
Plain black, flat footwear (plain black trainers can be worn).
PE
White, round-neck T-shirt and black shorts.
In the colder months, a black long-sleeved top or hoodie plus black leggings or tracksuit bottoms.
Trainers.
The following are not acceptable:
- Shoes with flashings or trims, stilettos or shoes with high heels over 2/3cm, sandals, open-toed shoes, sling back or backless shoes. In severe weather conditions (snow) pupils may travel to school in wellington boots but must bring a change of footwear to wear during the school day.
- Hats must not be worn inside the school building. However, woolly hats may be worn to travel to school and to wear at break times in cold weather and caps should be worn during break times in the summer to provide shade from the sun.
- Hair dyed in bright colours (e.g blue, green).
- Coloured nail varnish or false nails.
- Shaved heads.
Please note, pre-loved uniform items are available from the unit in main reception. Please help yourself as required.
