E-Safety

At Springwood Junior Academy, we prioritize the importance of Digital Safety. We have integrated it into our Computing and RSHE curriculum, ensuring that children understand the real-life risks associated with using digital devices. We emphasize that digital safety extends beyond the school environment and is equally crucial at home.

Furthermore, we actively participate in "Online Safety Week" every February. During this dedicated week, our students engage in a variety of activities that explore a wide range of online safety issues. They learn how to effectively respond to any online safety concerns they may encounter. Through discussions and debates, we encourage children to reflect on their internet usage at home and promote responsible behaviour when utilizing digital devices. Our staff work to ensure that our pupils grasp the concepts of internet safety and become responsible users of the online world.
