Breakfast Club

Springwood Junior Academy Breakfast Club is available for all pupils from FS2-Y6. This takes place in the school hall from 7:50 to 8:40 each morning. There is a selection of food choices which the pupils can choose from, e.g. toast, cereal, bagels, fruit. After eating breakfast, pupils can choose from a selection of activities to engage in, including crafts, lego, reading, board games. 

Breakfast Club costs £3 per session and must be booked in advance. If you are interested in your child attending Breakfast Club, please speak with reception or email info@springwoodacademy.org for further information or to book a place. 

After School Childcare

In order to meet the needs of our families, we also provide an after-school childcare facility, Monday to Friday, 3 - 5:30pm. FS1, FS2 and KS1 pupils are escorted into the school hall by a member of staff at the end of the school day; KS2 pupils move through school in to the hall at 3pm where a register is taken. Once at after-school childcare club, a snack and drink is provided, for example, toast, biscuits, fruit, followed by pupils being able to access a range of activities including arts and crafts, table tennis, construction, board games. The club leaders facilitate and support these activities. 

The Childcare club costs £8 per session and should be booked in advance.
