Why train with us?

At ACET we take care of our trainees. Our vision is to deliver high quality practical training and support that produces great teachers with a good work life balance. You will have a main placement school from day one.

Each school based training session is delivered by current practitioners who are experts in their field but have not forgotten what it is like to be a trainee teacher. As such they are packed full of practical advice that will really make a difference in the classroom as well as a few tips and tricks to help. Our in school sessions complement your university sessions to provide a rounded training experience based on the latest educational research.

Your placements will be with one of our partner schools but we maintain a close relationship throughout your training, checking in on you and meeting regularly. The transition between your placements will be comprehensive with both mentors communicating ensuring you get the best out of each placement.
